Phoenix

We escaped the cold Utah weather and went to visit Spencer's Brother and wife in Sunny Phoenix. All we did was swim, it was the perfect get away.

This is what Grant liked to do, buckle and un-buckle.

The ducks came for a swim.

Scarlet doing a "Hannon Ball"

George doing a "Cannon Ball"

Grant trying to dodge anyone trying to catch him!

We love Phoenix I think we will make this a yearly trip. Got me out of the Winter blues.

Make-A-Wish Easter Egg Hunt

We were invited to the Make-A-Wish Easter Egg Hunt at the Dinosaur Park in Ogden. It was so much fun the kids loved picking up the eggs and walking around the park. They were having contests to see who could find the biggest dinosaur.

George with his loot.

Grant was so excited when he opened the eggs to find CANDY!!

Scarlet, striking a pose.

They found the biggest, meanest dinosaur there!!

Grant...

Hit it on the fireplace hearth, glue.

Hit it on the bottom of my table, 7 Stitches.

Went down our hill on his little bike, 7 stitches & serious road rash.

Hit it on the corner of our wall, 7 Stitches.

All this in 8 months. We now call him the Liability!

Chicago for the Big 30!!

I had the surprise of my life when I got the chance to go to Chicago, thanks Spenney!!! I got to go with my favorite people my Mom, Dad and one and only my sissy Randi. We laughed so hard and ate a ton. Such a fun city but man was it cold.

Eating, we had our own room it was cool!

My dad and I at Ghirardelli, we got the dark hot chocolate. Notice how large our milks are and that my straw is standing straight up!?! Delish!

Who needs the kids to look like idiots!

Really cool bridges here, beautiful city.

Thanks for a GREAT 30th Birthday!!!

The Shreadder...

...need I say more!!

The Big "6"

George turned 6 on Feb 22 I can not believe how big he is. He loves Kindergarten, the Wii, playing football with his dad and just being a boy!! I am so proud of him and all that he has accomplished in his short life but it is a lot and he has taught me a lot. Here is to more years to come!!!

He wanted an Indiana Jones Birthday party so we had the cake with the ball rolling and he got Indiana Jones hat, whip and satchel. He is never with out them. We had fun games at his party they had to use straws and q-tips as blow darts to get them through the target. They also had to decipher ancient writing to find they saying. We also had an archaeological dig and they had to find the golden idol. I think it was quite a fun party but it makes it all worth it to have a pinata!! Happy Birthday to my big 6 year old, you have grown up too fast!!
