Latest Happenings

So I need to do a little catch up, my parents are taking on a large task and we scheduled a Super Saturday to work on their kitchen. They ended up taking out all day and not doing electrical and plumbing, there was a lot more damage to the floor than they thought so they are basically starting from dirt!! You can see all the dust in the air when I was taking the pictures.

We blessed Grant on Sunday so it is official, Spencer LeGrand Little!! We did it at home with just our family's it was so nice and relaxing I think that is the way to do it!!

Scarlet found a new chair!!

This was as good as we could do for a family picture, Scarlet was not having it.

So this was the night before while I was preparing for Sunday, I made all sorts of treats. This is Scarlet with the Licorice Carmel's.

This is Scarlets face and hand print in the Carmel's, I guess she thought she would just go for it!! Don't worry all those who attended, I did not use these!!

And yes this little bug is smiling now, I love it!!

The good the bad and the ugly!!

Spencer was in the other room with the kids while I was painting the Kitchen cabinets. He kept telling Scarlet "that is gross, don't do that, go show your mom." Scarlet comes into the kitchen in just her undies and turns around so I can see her bum and said "Poop, mommy I poop." I start laughing hysterically, she had stuffed the coasters down her pants to be her poop!!

Just yesterday we were painting her nails and she decided she should throw the bottles. One broke on the carpet, bright red on the carpet!?! Two serious matters on Sunday, I swore and Spencer had to go to the store for more nail polish remover!!! She is keeping us on our toes but man she can be really funny!!

Pretties

Scarlet LOVES anything girly, especially pretties(what we call lip stick). Thanks Randi!!! I think Grant looks good in purple. I think this is the first of many times Scarlet will put makeup on him!!

Glass Slipper and Root Beer

I think my kids are funny. They have both done some crazy things the last little while. Sometimes we will still be in bed while the kids are up and the other morning we hear the microwave go off, a bang, and George crying. Spencer runs out to find George upset because his Root Beer was too hot for him to hold and he dropped it. He was heating up a coke in a plastic bottle because he wanted to warm up his Root Beer. I am still finding Coke all over my cabinets and ceiling!?!
Spencer was also involved in the next extravaganza. He was watching Scarlet in the dining room, she was carefully examining something on the floor. She bent down and picked it up and quickly shoved it up her nose. Spencer went running trying to get her to blow it out, he was successful in retrieving the object. It was a glass slipper of a Polly Pocket. I would like to know what she was thinking to want to put it up her nose. Too funny!

Randi and I decided a while ago to go and see the Elephant parade that the circus does when they come to town. The kids thought it was great, they got free noses and posters. I was actually amazed at the elephants, they had a ton of them there. Way fun and the kids loved it!!

Catch Up

We had a small party for Scarlet's birthday she turned 2 I can't believe how fast it has gone. Just yesterday she was as small as Grant. Scarlet wanted to pick out her own cake so I let her, it was Mickey and Minnie Mouse. One thing I did not realise that the frosting would turn all our mouths black!!


You can kinda see how black her mouth is, mine I think was worse?!?

She wanted to open all her presents in her new car seat.

Mama Bear!!

So my mom just turned the big 50 and we had a birthday luncheon for her. We, I should actually say Randi, was able to arrange to have her friends and her mom and sister meet in SLC for lunch at the Grill. It was a lot of fun they all shared stories about my mom and when they met her for the first time. My sister also put flyer's all around her neighborhood and at her work that had a picture of her in High School that said "Look how nifty she's turning 50!" it was really cute. Well mom I hope you had a good one! Love you!!

Spencer LeGrand Little

He is finally here!! All 7 lbs 12 oz of him. He is going to be tall like his dad is is a whopping 22 inches long. He arrived October 1st at 2:30 AM. He is as cute as ever and if it were possible I think I would make a PB&J out of him!! We are so happy that our little Grant baby is here and be able to camp out at home and just stare at him.

Happy Happy Birthday!!

My little Scarloo is turning 2 today and I can not belive it!! Where does the time go. It seems just like yesterday I was geting ready to have her and now I am waiting to have Grant!?! Crazy times here in the Little household. One of my favorite things she says is "it kikkows" (it tickles).
