Customer Service

I am a big advocate for Customer Service and these days it seems like it is going out the window!! But when I receive great service I am going to tell everyone about it because those companies who still believe in it I would like to give them credit.
I ordered a swimsuit from Athleta and took it to Hawaii. While swimming I realised that it was stretching out. I have been going back and forth on what to do, because most of the time the companies will just laugh at you if you have already worn it. I gave them a call and they said no problem and are shipping out a new top and not charging me for the return shipping!! Just wanted to let you all know that they are fantastic and I would recommend them to anyone!!

Privacy!!

I got an e-mail from a friend asking me to change their name from their last name to their first name, on my blog links. I really did not think about it so I am sorry to anyone that did not want their last name shared in the blogging world. So I have gone and changed everyones to thier first names. If you would rather your Social Security Number I can put that on there instead of your first name or last name. Sorry to all those that did not want their names out there, I really did not think about it.

Bit-O-Surgery

George is on some medications. His main anti-rejection medication has a side effect that makes his gums expand and they have grown so much they nearly cover his teeth. His back teeth were almost covered, the periodontist said that he was not even touching teeth, he was tissue on tissue. So as you can imagine it was very hard for him to eat and effected some of his speech. We had a gingivectomy(Spelling!?!) done on Thursday and it is still so weird to see him with teeth. Here is a before and after picture!! He seriously is the cutest, I know I am a little bias!!

So here is the before!!

And the after, I could just kiss him!
He is a champ on Friday, the day after surgery, he wanted a sandwich! I would still be crying about how much I hurt.

New York!

We just got back from New York and it was a blast!! I went with my mom, Randi, Shawn, grandma, aunts and cousins. It was so much fun to get to know everyone better. Randi made the itinerary and there was a quote she found it said if you want to get to know someone go shopping with them. Well we did and I know them pretty good!!
Randi-Brrring Brrring the 80's Called, they want their scrunchy back!
Shawn-We prefer to call her Seo. She really liked the service at Mama Mexico!?!
Nancy-She is just very curious about the way people sit at the Bountiful Bubble.
Steph-She really likes standing out in the rain for a cab and especially when a vendor dumps their umbrella on her!!
Laurie-She gets really excited to ride in a limo! So easy going!!
Jami-Got to shop for cute baby girl stuff!!
Laci-What can I say, a delight to be around!!
Jeanette-Always had a good story to tell!!
Whitney-Likes trying new foods at dinner.
Grandma-Really quite funny and a ball to be around!

I want to give a shout out to my grandma, one of the greatest people I know!! While we were there I learned so much about her, she is the kindest most open minded person I have ever known. I have never heard her say one rude thing about anyone and she is so accepting of others and understanding. On our last day in New York we got some tragic news my uncle, her son, passed away at the age of 46. It was a shock to us all but the way she handled it was amazing. She had a breakdown and cried but she was still so selfless and wanted to go get cupcakes at Magnolia Bakery. I told her this many times, but it is true when I grow up I want to be my Grandma, I love you.

We found a cute little Cafe to eat at in SoHo. I think we are going to find Shawn and Zach a place to live there.

This is my $10 Cappuchino cup from Dean and Deluca, it was the yummiest chocolate I have ever had.

Enjoying our breakfast at Dean and Deluca, ready for another day of shopping.

We went and got Sushi one night and at midnight it was Steph's birthday so they brought her a cup of ice cream with a trick candle we were all deliciously tired so it was the funniest thing we have ever seen!!

Our Limo ride to see our shows!!

In Grand Central Station, what a neat building.

Do I need to comment on this!?!

The girls at Cafe Lalo.

The youngin's at Cafe Lalo.

A Serendipitously good time!!

Me and my Grandma at Serendipity.

What we liked to do after a long day's walk in the rain!!

Maui

We just got home from Maui and it was wonderful. We went to Maui for a week and sat at the pool and went to the beach took a catamaran snorkeling ride and so much more. It was so nice to get away from this horrible Utah weather. George tried out boogie boarding and loved it, he was actually pretty good. We did the road to Hana, that was way fun we saw so many waterfalls and a bamboo jungle. Spencer even got to do a little cliff jumping into a waterfall. We ate and shopped what more could you ask for than a trip to Maui to relax after Spencer's graduation. Now I am off to NYC and I will let you all know how that trip is as well!!

George was spitting out the ocean water, not too shabby for his first trip in the ocean! He is a good little boogie boarder, I think we need to get him into some lessons.
This was on the road to Hana, we found this cool beach.
George is in love with Mr. Incredible, this is his Incredible pose in the Jungle.
Spencer jumping off the cliff into the waterfall.

This is at the end of the road to Hana, it is called the 7 sacred pools, normally you could swim in them but the tide was too high. So we just got some scenic pictures. It was really cool.

I don't know if you can see the boat all that well but this is in Lahina. The boat in the background is sunk. It has been there for 5 years. When it first sunk the city delayed taking it out because it is a $10,000 fine each month it is there. When they went to take it out there were Manta Ray's living there so they couldn't take it out because it had become a habitat. So there it sits in the harbor!!
George shooting hoops in the pool. If any of you are planning to go to Maui in the future with kids, go to the Marriott Ocean Club. They have the best pool out of all the hotels we saw there. It has 2 waterfalls, 2 water slides, basketball hoop and a volleyball net. There is also this pirate ship that has water coming out all over it with real sand for the little kids to play in. It was great.
Sam and George with grandpa looking down into the water on the catamaran ride.

Kinda Cool!

Just thought some of you might like to see this, it is George's Commercial. I think it turned out great.

Hallelujah!!!

No one, especially me thought this day would come. Oh yes everyone brace yourselves, Spencer Graduated!!! I am still in shock although it would be even better if he had a job too. But I can't ask for too much I am just so excited he has done it. It has been a long road with having to drop classes when George was sick and having that set him back. All I can say is Hallelujah!!

Also, Spencer told me when we were getting married that he only had about 2 years left of School, we have now been married 5 years, you do the math!!
