Happy Happy Birthday!!

My little Scarloo is turning 2 today and I can not belive it!! Where does the time go. It seems just like yesterday I was geting ready to have her and now I am waiting to have Grant!?! Crazy times here in the Little household. One of my favorite things she says is "it kikkows" (it tickles).

Really!?!

My little Georgie Bean has been fighting a nasty case of the runs for a while, or as he calls them "squirt poo". I have had it with all the bathroom breaks, I would actually call them bathroom panics because if you don't get there right away it is all over!! So we sent in a sample to Primaries got results today, drum roll please.... Giardia. Hello 3rd world country, oh no wait we don't live in one!?! It is from lake water, we have been boating a lot lately and had a fellow heart mom tell me that their daughter was not supposed to go in lakes. Well I think that is what did it, so Miss K's mom you know who you are I blame you(I hope you get my sarcasm). Cardiology did not tell me not to take him boating anymore so I guess we are still OK. But I think I might wait till this clears up. Never a dull day with George!!

Wall Art

My mom is a fantastic artist, I however did not get any of her skills. My brother Zach did, and he and my mom painted this in my nursery. He is doing some work in another house right now and I think is is sharks. But I just wanted to put these pictures out there and if anyone needs some murals painted just let me know and I will give you his number.

Bear Lake

We just got home from a wonderful week in Bear Lake. Unlike previous years we stayed in a Cabin that actually fit all of us, deluxe accommodations. The cabin was also built after I was born which is a plus, not like the Sweet Water Condos we have rented before. They are lots of fun and remind me of being a little kid but not as updated as you would like them to be. But we had a blast a lot of laughing and playing at the beach. Thanks to my in-laws we were able to bring up the boat. My family had a great time on it we bought a kids ski and we got Ruth, Hank and George up on it. They were terrified but they did it and I think they would try it again. We ate a lot of good food and had a great time. Thanks Mom and Dad for a great trip!!

Scarloo out on the boat.

George's favorite place on the boat!!

We also went and toured the Minnetonka Cave in St. Charles, Idaho. It was a lot of fun but there were a lot of stairs and being 34 weeks pregnant I think I over did it. The following day I had contractions all day long, not good. Spencer loved it although he thought it would have been funner to explore it on his own and not have to stay on the paths or behind the railings. The cave is 40 degrees so it it pretty cold but the kids loved it.

She has a misgevious smile, bt I love it!!

When the guide would talk I told them they had to be quite, they thought we were saying a prayer!!

Just some pictures of the stairs.

Scarlet wanted to run free around the end of the tour, as you can tell we were tired enough from the stairs but to have to hold a squirming little girl was even worse!!

The Floods

The other day me and the kiddies were playing happily in the basement. George comes running up to me telling me that Scarlet had spilled something. Thinking she was in the laundry room I went running. She was in the playroom minding her own business. I asked George where she had spilled and I stepped in it!?! So I went to check if she had and accident, but she was dry. As I looked around the playroom at the carpet I start to notice that there were some parts of it that the carpet was darker. As I walked around the room my feet start squishing in the water, our basement had flooded but where was the water coming from. Our house is on a hill and we don't have any window wells and it has not rained for a while. So I start to check the walls to see if the bathroom above was leaking but all the walls looked fine it was just the floor. So I go and check out the kids room and there is just as much water on their floor it is just different carpet so you can't see it as much. I call Spencer to see if he has any other great ideas of what could be leaking and he had just fixed one of our sprinklers out front. I go and check it and it is fine, I go to check the sprinkler box and the lid is floating on top. That was our problem, there was a river on the side of our house. I reached in and shut off the main line and come to find out our blow out valve had exploded and was spraying everywhere. Still we don't have any window wells so needless to say we have a crack in our foundation. We have been drying out our carpet and riped up the playroom and the lovely previous owners had just painted and carpeted over mold in the closet!?! Gotta love honesty in mold disclosure statements!! So we have a lot of work ahead of us, wish us luck!!

The kids room with the carpet ripped up, I think we will be able to save this carpet.

Another view of the kids room.

The playroom, I think this carpet is toast, I was not too attached to it. It looked like office carpet.

Ahh, the closet with the mold!?! Can't wait to see what is behind these walls!!

Demolition Derby

We were able to get the Kamas Demolition Derby tickets this year and it was so much fun. Besides the noise the kids loved it. It was a good year in the first heat a car got tipped over and on like the third there was one car that went right on top of the other one. Gotta love white trash entertainment. Besides the kids having to go to the bathroom like 7 times each(bathrooms on the opposite side) and Scarlet falling through the bleachers(we were only on the 3rd row) we had a great time.

The Studio

I love July, so much is going on. We went to the Rodeo, or as George calls it the "Studio", the kids loved it. George really wanted to ride the bulls like in some of his books until he saw the bull riders fall off and some of the bulls get really close to him. Not too excited about riding one then!? The kids looked so cute I went to Reams to get them outfitted for the months events. Scarlet would not take her boots off when we left so they were keepers!!

I thought this was so cute of the kids, they are all standing so cute. My dad got us rockin' tickets we had box seats right up front. So no one could walk in front of us and we had seats not just the bleachers. Definitely the way to go to an Ogden Rodeo.

I had to get a picture of Scarloo's getup, seriously I could eat her!!

Ruthie "Bumps" and George enjoying the Rodeo.

The fam at the rodeo, thanks dad we had so much fun!! You can't see very well but we all have on cowboy boots and Spencer has his tacky S belt buckle!!

George was so in love with his boots that he had to wear them home, he crashed.
