Make-a-Wish

My sweet Georgie gets to make-a-wish. We went down to the Wishing Place for him to declare his wish. He wished for a Pirate Ship Playground. They were so cute they made cookies for him and took us on a tour of the building. Once George's wish is granted he will have a star placed on the ceiling of Make-a-Wish and it will have his name on it. It was really neat we all made a wish for George and he made his wish. I am really excited for him to have the opportunity to do this. It was kinda humbling to read the information they sent, they said wishes were only for those with terminal or life threatening illnesses. George falls into those categories so it was really crazy that he gets to do this but I am thankful for Make-a-Wish and all those who donate to this great organization.

Phoenix

We went to Phoenix to visit Austin and Courtney and we had a great time. We did lots of swimming and shopping. We also ate and Courtney's parents house it was so nice to be down there and have some nice weather when it was still Winter in Utah!?!

We drove and this was the kids when we started the trip, they did great such troopers!!

NYC

We went to NYC for our girls trip. We had so much fun shopping, eating, and laughing till we were sick. A special thanks to Dane my brother for the free apartment to stay in, can't beat that. I did not take many pictures, I was having too much fun eating!!

This is some of the group at my new favorite stop in NYC it is called STK. It was so good and had the funnest atmosphere, there was loud music that I could sing to the table!! They all loved having me there to sing to them especially Kate!!

We had 2 young visitors on our girls trip, they were so much fun to have around. They went to the American girl store and had a ball the rest of the time.

While I was gone Spencer decided to fix George's bike that I ran over. He was trying to straighten out the handle bars, slipped and hit himself in the forehead. Blood was dripping everywhere and George and Scarlet were just standing there staring at him!! Thanks Graham for the stitches, he is kinda lost without me here!!

Crazy Awesome!!!

So Smiths is having the best sale ever!!! They are rounding up all your coupons to $1! What, Crazy Awesome!! At Smiths today my total was $442 and I only paid $188. It was such a rush, I love coupons, the receipt was as tall as I am!!!

HOME!!

We came home yesterday afternoon and hopefully we will stay here. George is doing great, he is on his new medications and his x-ray looked soooo good. What we are hoping is that we can get his lungs healthy so they can catch up and not get sick as much, now that we have opened his bronchial tube. So here is to hoping and having a fun winter, oh wait it is supposed to be spring?!! Silly me Utah does not have spring.

Hospital Again

So George woke up this morning with a fever so we are back in the hospital. They did a chest x-ray and labs and his lung is partially collapsed. He also has pneumonia AGAIN!! What we are thinking is that his last one never cleared up. So they are going to put him on a medication that they use for Cystic Fibrosis that will breakup the secretions in his lung so we can get him all clear so the pneumonia won't come back. Hopefully we will only be here for a few days but we will keep you updated. Thanks!!

Shark Bait, oo ha ha!!

George's x-ray this morning looked better so they decided to let us go home!!! I think this is one of my favorite things, being scattered all over the place. To come home and have all my peeps in one place and with me. Nothing better than that.

George is doing great, he rarely needs any pain meds and can forget that he had surgery so he can get better faster. As good of a friend he is with Scarlet he really missed his brother, Grant. It was so cute on Saturday for my birthday they came up to the hospital and we sat outside and had cake. When Grant and Scarlet had to leave George just started to cry and said "I miss Grant" so being who I am I started to cry too. He is the sweetest!! Here are a few picts of the new "shark bite!!"

So after looking at these pictures you are probably thinking what I am that I have man hands!?! Really noting feminine about them, kinda a shocking realization.
