Scarlet Reese Has Arrived

I never thought it would get here but here I am already home with her. She decided to come on Sept. 21 around 3 PM disturbing my afternoon nap. I then called Spencer and told him to meet me at the hospital. My mom and Randi picked me up and we met up with Spencer and his mom at the hospital around 4:30ish. I was officially admitted around 6 and they started me on Penicillin because I tested positive for Strep. I got my epidural around 9ish I think, but I was in such quick labor that it could not keep up with me. Power to those who have natural labor, I was an 8 and about to die because I could feel the contractions. That is something I do not want to feel ever again. She arrived at 10:48 PM with one, oh yes one push along with a few smaller quick pushes. She weighed 8 lbs. 1 oz. and has a ton of dark hair!! We are all thrilled she is here and hope you all enjoy the pictures. Can you say Chub-a-Lub!!

Well we will keep you updated because for some reason I am still seceretly hoping she will come any minute. Pray for my sanity!!!

Fun at the State Fair!

We went to the State Fair the other day with Ruth, Hank and Jack-o. They had a ball. George did not want to get off the pony rides, but we were able to entice him with other animals. He loved the Goats, they were the only ones out of their cage for the kids to pet. I am always amazed at the pigs. They stink so bad but they are the weirdest looking things, George loved the baby pigs.

There was the cutest Little Farmer part. They put these aprons on and got a basket. They went into different little buildings and had to do daily chores that Farmers would do. They got an egg from the chickens, got corn meal to feed the cows, planted potatoes, and got to milk the cows. All of it was fake but it was fun to see him play pretend.

All because of Randi Workman

So here I am looking at all of these blogs, all because Randi Workman told me how much fun it is. Well she is right so I would just like to add another blog for Randi to look at.

We bought a house this year here in the County and we are loving it. There is a lot of work to be done but it is so palatial. Going from a 900 sq ft apartment to I think it is just under 3000 sq ft home is just about the funnest thing someone can do. We are really enjoying Davis County, as much as Spencer tries to deny it, he is in love with Weber Water!!

George is doing great, we just found out that he has asthma too. I think we are just trying to find as many things that he can come down with as possible. So here is a picture of him doing his treatment, we have to bribe him with a show and most of the time slip treats under his mask to keep it on for the 20 minutes that it takes.

I am still pregnant but I will keep you all updated on the progress. My doctor just checked me and I am dialated to a 3 and 40%. She said that I will definatly not be late but she does not know how soon it will be. I am not holding my breath if anyone remembers George was 41 weeks and they had to start me!! So I am still expecting to go into labor in the middle of October. I should let you know I am 36 weeks today!!
