Coronado, CA

We just got back from a fantastic 10 day trip to Coronado, CA. It was fantastic, I wish I was still there. We did so many fun things I can hardly stand it. We swam, beached it, surfed, boogie boarded, went crabbing, went on a ferry and played so many games. Scarlet even started crawling on this trip.We went with our good friends and had too much fun. It was Whitney's grandma's place that they let her use as a Christmas gift. They were nice enough to invite us to come with them. We hope they invite us again, hint hint, wink wink!! The condo was fantastic. There was so much room for us all to stay comfortably. The condo's are right on the beach and the one we stayed at had ocean views from every window. I ate breakfast to the sound and view of the ocean. We slept with the windows open because the weather was fantastic and heard the ocean all night long, what is better? Here are a few picts of the trip, hope you enjoy, I did!!

This is us on the beach taking a break from crabbing. The weather was wonderful, it was 75-80!

Spencer and George trying to lure the crabs with cheese.

Scarlet checking out the crabs we caught.
George wanted to get them out and play with them.

Just one of George's crazy things he did on the trip. This is a Lloyds BBQ container he thought would make a great hat, it looks even better with just skibbs on!!
This is my pride and glory picture. Yes this is Risk, and I am yellow, and I WON!!! I beat Spencer in a strategy game, I can not believe it so I needed to document it!!
The kids playing in the pool it was great. Georgie learned how to swim by himself in his life jacket.
George jumping to Spencer.

We went to Sea World. George loved the Sharks, they were all named Bruce, thanks to Nemo.

George got to feed the Dolphins, he thought it was the coolest thing.
After you fed them they would let you pet them.
Just waiting for the Dolphin show to start, all the kids were mesmerized by the animals.

George and Spencer coming in from a great time in the Ocean.
The girls at the beach, Me Angie and Whitney.
Spencer tried to get George to Surf, it did not happen.
Scarlet enjoyed the beach, especially the sand she thought it tasted great!?!
Here is Katelyn, Scarlet and Benson. Scarlet and Katelyn love to eat sand.

We walked down the the Hotel Del one night and got the best Ice Cream, it had a brownie under it. The Ice Cream was fantastic, I can not remember the flavor but it tasted so good.
Here is the Norman's eating the Ice Cream too. Too bad we only went once!

I just had to add this picture of Scarlet, she cracks me up just playing in the sand pit!

Fun family photo when we went back to sea world for their night shows!!

4th of July!

To start the festivities we went to our ward breakfast, it was fun to see everyone and have the bicycle parade. We then went to the Kaysville parade, it just would not be the 4th without the Kaysville parade to enjoy. Then it was home to nap away!! Love nap time. Then we had a few friends over for a front yard BBQ, our back yard is a jungle of weeds. It is so fun to see everyone and have such a fun day.
Here is Georgie throwing his snaps!
Here is the kiddies on a wagon ride, what is the 4th without a wagon ride!?!

Long Pointies!!

The title of this post goes out to all those who have seen Damitri Martin. He is a new comedian that I think is hilarious!! You can see him on You Tube, he has a swear word here and there but altogether pretty clean and very funny!! Check him out.

Here is Scarlet enjoying her long pointies!!

Team Swoobs!!

This last weekend I got the chance to run in the Wasatch Back Relay Race. It was quite the experience. I was runner number 1 so I started the race in Logan, my second leg was running down Trappers Loop and my last one was running from Rockport into Oakley. My total distance was 19.5 miles and I ran all the freaking miles, I don't think there is a way to describe the accomplishment. I have never had that feeling it is not like having kids or graduating. It is a different feeling altogether, I think everyone should do something like this in their life. I am all into running now and I love it. I also love all the girls I ran with what a ball we had. I wish I had more pictures but these are not even mine I was too tired to even try to get my camera out, how lazy am I?? But I hope you all take on my challenge to do something like this before you die.

This is us getting ready to head up to Logan. Don't we all look refreshed and rested!!!This is my grandma and grandpa, they live in Logan and came to see us start out the race!!

This is after the race, we are all ready to go home. We got no sleep and ran all night long.

Customer Service

I am a big advocate for Customer Service and these days it seems like it is going out the window!! But when I receive great service I am going to tell everyone about it because those companies who still believe in it I would like to give them credit.
I ordered a swimsuit from Athleta and took it to Hawaii. While swimming I realised that it was stretching out. I have been going back and forth on what to do, because most of the time the companies will just laugh at you if you have already worn it. I gave them a call and they said no problem and are shipping out a new top and not charging me for the return shipping!! Just wanted to let you all know that they are fantastic and I would recommend them to anyone!!

Privacy!!

I got an e-mail from a friend asking me to change their name from their last name to their first name, on my blog links. I really did not think about it so I am sorry to anyone that did not want their last name shared in the blogging world. So I have gone and changed everyones to thier first names. If you would rather your Social Security Number I can put that on there instead of your first name or last name. Sorry to all those that did not want their names out there, I really did not think about it.

Bit-O-Surgery

George is on some medications. His main anti-rejection medication has a side effect that makes his gums expand and they have grown so much they nearly cover his teeth. His back teeth were almost covered, the periodontist said that he was not even touching teeth, he was tissue on tissue. So as you can imagine it was very hard for him to eat and effected some of his speech. We had a gingivectomy(Spelling!?!) done on Thursday and it is still so weird to see him with teeth. Here is a before and after picture!! He seriously is the cutest, I know I am a little bias!!

So here is the before!!

And the after, I could just kiss him!
He is a champ on Friday, the day after surgery, he wanted a sandwich! I would still be crying about how much I hurt.
