Pirate and Princess Party

George not only had his wish granted by having a Pirate Ship in his backyard but Make-A-Wish held a party for him as well. I also want to thank United Health Care who sponsored George's wish. We invited all his friends and family to come and play on his ship. There were goodie bags and cake and ice cream for all. There was also some real pirates that came and did a sword fight for the kids to watch. When George made his wish they ask for a backup wish in case they can not grant his first one. Well his backup wish was to meet Darth Vader. To his surprise Darth Vader showed up to the Pirate party and George was terrified. He gradually got up the courage to stand near him without crying. Being the host I did not get any good pictures this is all I have so I will update soon with decent pictures. For now enjoy the scene pictures.

ONE

My Grant-a-Mus is ONE I can not believe it. I swear he just started crawling, oh that is right he did just start crawling but I could not ask for a more chill baby for number 3. He is the sweetest thing around and I can not get enough of his thighs, YUM!!

Birthday Boy with morining eyes.
Birthday Pancakes

I had to blow out the candle he was not quite sure about it.

He has to feed his thighs.

His favorite toy, a balloon. That night we went out on the boat just our family for Grant's birthday and he opened his presents and we had birthday brownies, delicious.

The next day was Hobie's birthday so we decided to go to the Zoo with them to celebrate their first birthdays. Here is Tess and Scarlet on the train.

The Birthday boys, Grant and Hobie.

Acting like tigers on the tigers!?!

For our families we celebrated on Conference Sunday and I made Candy Corn Cupcakes they were layered orange and yellow then the top was white like the candy corn, They were really good.

Wish Granting

As I posted a while ago that George was eligible to make a wish and he wished for a Pirate Ship Playground. Well it finally arrived. Here are a few pictures of how it arrived.
Here is some of the wish granters with the truck behind them.

Starting the assembly process.

Too many pieces for me.

Trying to find the most level place in the backyard for the ship.

Lots of holding and waiting.

George surprised to come home to his Pirate ship in the backyard.

He LOVES it!!!

There is a child who has made a wish and has made up an Ice Cream Creation for Cold Stone and that is the flavor you can get for free. They have asked George to go to the Bountiful Location to represent Make-A-Wish. They will have places for donations to Make-A-Wish, so come get your free Ice Cream and make a donation to Make-A-Wish.

Sisty Ugler

So my sisty ugler is another year older and wiser than I, and it will ALWAYS be that way!! I just want to give a shout out to her and all she does for me and for everyone in her life. I don't think there is a more selfless person I know. She is constantly making cookies for the world, serving others, taking care of her 5 kids(Colin included) and talking to her sister for hours while doing it all.

Knowing that Randi goes out of her way to make sure that everyone has a fun birthday, Ashley wrangled up the troops for some park time for her birthday. Good times in the park with great friends, thanks to Ashley for planning it and to Emily who came.

Happy Birthday Randi I hope it is a good one and it will keep on going all week, you are my hero and I want to be you when I grow up:) Love you!!

School

George started Kindergarten this year and his teacher is Mrs. Corbridge. He loves it, I was kinda nervous because he did not like Primary but he is doing great. We walk to school every morning because the school is only a few blocks away and he thinks it is great. Here is to a healthy school year!!!
